After a year of letting Nolice rot (mostly due to feeling like I wasn’t where I needed to be artistically to complete it successfully) I’ve decided to scrap what I’ve done on it and restart it from scratch. How far from scratch? All the way back to character designs. The past two years I have been working on learning illustration in College, and am starting to feel a bit more confident than before. Comics will start rolling out again after I rebuild the designs and foundation. With college and life constantly interfering in my ability to accomplish much on my projects, it's been a while since I have produced any art outside of school. I am attempting to seriously change that by withdrawing myself from technology and work on a comic in pen and ink like I used to. The project I am trying to do that with is called From the Ruins, http://fromtheruins.com which I hope to complete using traditional media and scanning to add the lettering. It should be an interesting project once I really get started on it.
