Illustration Assignment 2 Hunchback Final

Our second illustration assignment is using cross hatching and developing character designs and a final illustration of a particular scene from the book,  the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I did several designs, ranging in styles from my standard to cartoony and horror but settled on experimenting with an off the wall cartoon like style for the hell of it.

This is the final inked project, using rapidograph pens and a brush with india ink on bristol board. For the final we were also allowed to use a wash to help fill in some space.
